We recently reviewed another yoga app, and gave it a good score, so can Daily Yoga, this time for Android, keep up the high level of quality yoga apps we have seen here at The Smartphone App Review?

Luckily, the answer is an emphatic yes, as Daily Yoga actually surpasses the efforts of that app and proves to be the best all round yoga app we have ever reviewed here. Why? Well the developer of the app has taken the approach of creating a virtual yoga coach in your pocket, as opposed to releasing a simple collection of videos, and the results are dramatic. The idea of having your own coach really helps to motivate and inspire users.

Here, in the words of the developer, are the app’s main features:

▌SOCIAL COMMUNITY:
■ Share achievements and comments on your yoga practice
■ Follow or be followed by other yogis
■ Chat with your yogi friends
■ Show off in Yogi’s Rankings List
■ Keep updates with your friends and other yogis.

This amount of content is commendable, and fits in well with the ‘coach’ ethos, as you will find something new to learn every time you load the app up. The social elements are a great addition, and help to motivate you, but can be ignored if you choose so.

With regard to the yoga video sessions, it is important that you know that these need to be installed seperately, this is to keep the initial file size down to a minimum. The app is compatible with all Android phones and tablets.

The app, and its videos, are extremely well done, and are as attractive to look at as they are easy to use. If you are interested in yoga at all, then this Android app should be your very first port of call.
