Any parents who have kids that own smartphones will know the frustration of being blatantly ignored by them. You buy them a phone so you can keep in touch at all times, right? Yet they take hours to respond to a text message or call you back.

Well, there is a superb little app called Ignore No More, available for Android through the Google Play store, that makes sure they can’t ignore you without seriously effecting what they can do with their phones.

The app is very easy to set up (just don’t tell your kid what you are going to do before you put this on their phone), and you will be underway in only a few minutes, as the interface is incredibly easy to navigate and very intuitive for even non-tech savvy parents.3-b

Here, straight from the  developer are the app’s best features:

Easy to Install
Be up-and-running in less than 10 minutes.

Single Household Account
One account controls multiple “child” devices from multiple “parent” devices

Cannot be Disabled
Virtually impossible to be removed by your child.

ICE Enabled
Does not interfere with ICE or First Responder calls

The way it works is very clever. You child’s phone can be locked remotely from your own, and you can also set up a number of different devices that can be locked remotely. Once you think you are not getting a quick enough response from them, a couple of taps later and their phone is nearly unusable, aside from their ability to respond to you. Once you are satisfied that they have got back to you, another tap or two gives them back access to their phone.

It really is that easy to use, and kids won’t be able to rid their devices of it, even if they try and try. It is important to note that the app will still allow them to make emergency calls while you have locked it.

Overall, this is an excellent app that takes a good idea and runs with it. Easy to use, with an attractive interface and plenty of options, this will soon prove to be an absolutely essential app for parents everywhere.
