If you point your browser at a certain page on PopCap’s Website, you will find a work in progress Android games page with artwork from titles including Plants Vs Zombies, Zuma, Peggle and Bejeweled. This coincides with the recent release of Google’s latest update for Android, Froyo 2.2 which brings a whole host of improvements, such as support for Flash 10.1, and importantly for gaming, the ability to store apps on your devices SD card, opening the door for more expansive games. Popcap have also said via their Twitter account, that Android will play host to these games from the beginning of 2010! PopCap have been on fire in recent years, with classic after classic, and having games such as Plant Vs Zombies and Peggle will provide a major boost to Androids gaming portfolio. Here’s hoping that WebOS gets some PopCap love soon. You can find the mystery page here. While you wait, here is a screenshot of Plants Vs Zombies to whet your appetite, or, if you have a Device with Flash 10.1, you can check out free to play demos utilising Flash here
