[A]pps to look out for is a regular feature where we take a look at an app that may have gone under your radar, and may in fact be worth a look.

Schedule Planner

Android has many brilliant features built in that make it a brilliant platform for the business user, but there is something missing that can only be provided by a third party developer, and that is a decent, fully featured schedule planner.

The aptly titled ‘Schedule Planner’ from Intersog aims to do exactly that, and fill the whole in the vanilla Android setup.

It not only does this commendably, but it is also completely free, which is just astonishing for such a fully featured application. This free version has many features that are sure to satisfy many users, and there is also a Pro option for those that just need more power and features.

I have to say though, that this edition is pretty fully featured as it is, with a wealth of options for planning your day. The best thing about the app, however, is the sheer speed at which you can add events and appointments to the planner, as it literally takes seconds to do. This is something that a lot of apps forget about; that many users just want the ability to speedily amend their calendar, with extra options available to them if they choose to use them.

Here are the apps main features, in the words of the developer:

● Utilize well-rounded & multi-faceted Task Selection & Creation editor.
● Color code tasks by category.
● Color coded diagram with breakdown of how you spend your time.
● Included pre-set task categories by focus; Work, Meals, Health, etc.
● Arrange your own options for lists.
● Switch between days with a simple swipe.

The developer call it ‘personal organization evolved on Google Play’, and they are correct as this app lets you organize just about every facet of your life, from meals and workouts, to business meetings and task. It is a great app, an one that should find a home on every Android handset.
