Panda Sweet Tooth - Targeting LLC Apps to look out for is a regular feature where we take a look at an app that may have gone under your radar, and may in fact be worth a look.

Panda Sweet Tooth Full

Panda Sweet Tooth is the latest App Store sensation. The game is essentially an endless runner, but with elements of Tiny Wings about it, as well as a strong Kung Fu Panda influence, and the result is highly addictive. I said endless runner, but as this game has stages and worlds with an end that is not strictly true, although the panda main character does indeed walk towards the right of the screen automatically. A tap of the screen makes him jump, with a double or triple tap while in the air causing him to perform a spinning double or triple jump, landing at a high speed. You can learn to chain these together to perform some impressive and speedy jumps.

The aim of the game is to collect fruit strewn about the levels, and there are a variety of enemies who are attempting to get the fruit off you. Some of these can be avoided by simply jumping over you, but some of them must be scared into submission by touching two fingers on the screen.

Bamboo is another thing that must be avoided as the panda will gobble it up, slowing him down at a greater rate with each bamboo until he is barely able to move or jump, and one more bamboo will mean game over. Luckily, collecting toadstools reverses this process, and they can even be stacked to have a few in reserve.

This mix proves to offer an interesting gameplay experience, and the lovely graphics and decent music will help you to keep coming back for more.

There are many levels to find and beat, and are separated into different areas, each of which has a different background and set of enemies to avoid, and even different fruit to collect. The game has an extremely high level of presentation, with a full comic book style introduction sequence to enjoy, as well as an attractive menu system and the aforementioned decent graphics and sound.

There is also a full HD version available for the iPad, which you can download here: iTunes.

Overall, this is a vibrant and addictive game that is well worth the small asking price.
