Valkyrie - Bifrost Studios Our ‘Apps to look out for’ reviews are quick looks into apps that may well have passed under your radar, but may in fact be worth a look, and possibly even a purchase. Have a peek at today’s app and see if you think it is worth your time and money.

Valkyrie

Valkyrie is an incredibly stylish first person runner game. Feeling like a mix of Mirror’s Edge and Temple Run with a look not too dissimilar to PS3 classic Journey, Valkyrie is both stylish and engaging.

You play the part of a Valkyrie, set with the task of escorting the souls of fallen warriors to Valhalla. It is not as easy as it sounds, as there are a lot of obstacles in your way, across a wide range of environments.

The levels are very interesting, as there are multiples routes and tiers to go through, and there is definitely more of a feeling of interaction than there is with a lot of games of this type on mobile.

Here is a brief overview of the game, straight from the developer:mzl.gabnkvwl.320x480-75

∞ Dynamic interactive game world
∞ Rich, realistic sound effects and cinematic soundtrack
∞ Progressively built obstacles that require both speed and strategy
∞ Ten unique and increasingly challenging levels!
∞ Super-addictive, skill-enhancing Endless Run mode

The main mode is pretty addictive, but once you have tired of it, the main draw with definitely be the Endless Run mode, which is sure to provide many hours of entertainment.

Overall, this is a gorgeous looking, fun game that also proves to be surprisingly addictive.

Well worth a purchase, snap this one up now.
