Water Cycles - Raquel Sanchez AnzolaOur ‘Apps to look out for’ reviews are quick looks into apps that may well have passed under your radar, but may in fact be worth a look, and possibly even a purchase. Have a peek at today’s app and see if you think it is worth your time and money.

Water Cycles

Water cycles is a game about getting water from the mountains to the sea without losing too much of the water in the process. This app also teaches users about the basics of the water cycle and all the different phases of it. Water Cycles

As you go along playing the game it gets harder each time to not to drop the water. You will also get daily challenges enabling you to gain stars that you will need to level up. There are up to 100 levels in this game at six different difficultly settings. The aim of the game is to start from mountains, for example and go through dirty parts of the land, where water is needed, and the goal is to keep the water as clean as possible and also to reach the checkpoints in the game.

There are many different settings such as farms. cities and factories to name a few. There is an extra section in the app called “What is the water cycle?” and it is a brilliant learning resource that can help a young child to  understand the basics of the water cycle in all its phases, from evaporation through to the return to the oceans.

This makes the app different from the rest, as I feel there is learning as well as a fun game. The £1.99 price I feel justifies the amount of content you get, the amazing effects and also the learning you can achieve.
