Google Maps Returns to iOS

Google Maps - Google, Inc.Critics can rejoice, Google has returned to iOS with an all new maps app. When Google Maps was pulled from the App Store, it caused quite the stir. Being replaced by the not-so-ready Apple Maps was even more of an insult. We knew that Google would return, and they’ve come back in a big way, with new and improved features.

The biggest highlights are definitely the new turn-by-turn navigation capabilities and 3D mapping available through a link to Google Earth. Even better are the old favorites with Street View and public transit directions. The newest release has only been out a few days and it has already grabbed over 10 million downloads and is the top free app in the App Store.
