Soviet Montage have released Flare, the first app to enable HDR video shooting, in the Apple App Store.

Don’t know what HDR, or High Dynamic Range imaging is? Check out the Wiki.

Done that? Good, and as you can see, some of the results of this technique are extraordinary, and the fact that Flare actually allows you to shoot live video with it is definitely something to be excited about.

You can mess around with the effects while you shoot, so it really does look like a lot of fun. Devices that support focus control will be able to focus independently of exposure which should lead to some gorgeous video being shot.

Any videos you create can be uploaded straight to Facebook, Twitter etc.

So, it all sounds great, lets just hope it is as good as it sounds, and you will be able to find out for yourselves when we review the app in the next few days.
