Fun photo apps are one of the many reasons kids love their smartphones so much. From the more social apps like Instagram to the more entertainment oriented, there are literally hundreds of apps to choose from.

However, many of the photo apps that are designed around fun editing are actually pretty difficult to use, which is counter intuitive for many users faced with an awkward interface. Users expecting to be able to pick out a face or body from their photos and to paste them into comedic scenes are invariably disappointed when they are presented with overly complex apps that only allow you to place a few stickers on-screen or to perform a few Instagram-style effects.photo rodeo

Thankfully, Photo Rodeo is both completely intuitive and has that all-important feature of being able to place faces into funny situations.

The app essentially allows you to place faces from your photo roll or camera app into ‘rodeo’ style photos, making it look as though you are riding various animals. In order to do this, the app has a simple yet effective technique. You choose a photo, trace an outline around the face you want to use, and then drag it into position on the scene of your choice.

The touchscreen is used really well here and it is nice to use a photo app that was obviously designed for iOS from the ground up, as opposed to other apps that are awkwardly converted from the keyboard and mouse school of thinking.

Here, straight from the developer, are the app’s best features:

*Choose photo from personal gallery or use the in-app camera
*Drag your finger around the outline of your face to cut your head from a photo
*Choose from a variety of photos, from Grizzly Bears, to Swordfish to Whales and Cats
*Chose Male, Female or Child setting for a more personal experience
*Save your collages to your device
*Share your PhotoRodeo creations via Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter

There are plenty of scenes to use for free, but you can purchase many extra packages if you so choose. Your creations can be kept on your device and saved to the cloud, and can also be shared on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and the afore-mentioned Instagram.

Photo Rodeo is fun, intuitive and well presented. The app is free and you get plenty included for you to use the app happily, and the interface is core to the experience with the developer managing to get it just right.

There is very little to complain about here, so we recommend that you get Photo Rodeo for some fun collage creation right away.
