Site Update – Exciting Times Ahead (Updated)

It's been an interesting week, what with the major announcements from HP, and you can rest assured, we will be covering Touchpad apps as soon as they become available.

We would also like to announce that we will, from the back end of March, be covering apps for Windows 7, so that is something to look forward to as well.

You may have noticed that we have own own app now. It's iPhone and iPod Touch only at the moment, and is also just based on HTML 5, and should really be considered as a test app for us, as we will have a fully featured, native app in the App Store by the start of next month. The native app is a lot better than the HTML 5 version, and we will be letting you in on a few of it's features closer to launch. Don't worry, it will be a free app.

The site has also had a bit of tinkering under the hood, mainly to speed up the load times of the main page, so hopefully you should see an improvement in the coming days.

There are several new reviews coming soon, as well as the launch of our new Android feature, The Weekly Widget. Every weekend we will take a look at a few widgets from the Android market and see how they stack up, with screens of how they look on our Dell Streak.

Thanks for visiting the site, we look forward to seeing you in the comments!

UPDATE: The 'tinkering' is now complete (at last) and you should notice a massive improvement in the home page.
