Theme Park coming soon to iPhone and iPad

Great news for thrill ride fans as EA are resurrecting the Theme Park franchise this year for iPhone and iPad.

In the first outing for the series since a version for the Nintendo DS back in 2007, EA have completely remade the title with brand new 3D graphics and a new freemium features. There are a whole host of new features, such as rides based on other EA franchises such as Dead Space and Mass Effect, and a new quest system.

Players will be able to purchase in-game money using in app purchases to buy new rides, speed up construction and reduces queues. A great new addition is the ability to control the rides yourself in an attempt to increase visitors enjoyment of them. We hope that EA get the timing of the building and upgrading right, as we don’t want to build a new rollercoaster and have to wait hours before it is actually finished unless you spend money. Please don’t let it be ‘We Rule’ but with rides.

Branded as a casual approach to the classic game, Theme Park will launch for both iPhone and iPad as a free to play title before the end of the year, and in the meantime you can check out our gallery of screenshots below.
