Pilo1:An Interactive Children's Story Book3D Animation-Puzzle Game - Arcreative Co. Ltd
Our ‘Apps to look out for’ reviews are quick looks into apps that may well have passed under your radar, but may in fact be worth a look, and possibly even a purchase. Have a peek at today’s app and see if you think it is worth your time and money.

Pilo 1 An Interactive Children’s Story Book3D Animation-Puzzle Game

Pilo 1 for iPad and iPhone, is an inventive and interesting interactive storybook that features many scenes of fun for kids and parents alike. As well as a decent story, this title features plenty of puzzle based mini games that help to expand the app, adding many hours of extra content.

The most impressive thing about the game/app/book is the fantastic animation that really helps to bring the characters and story to life.

You can even dress and decorate the main character, Pilo.

The app tells a good tale, about a ‘pillow doll’, called Pilo and his interactions with children and the world. There is a nice tale about the dream world here, and this is just the first in a series.Pilo1

Here, straight from the developer, are all of the ‘interactions’ or mini games in the app:

① Seeking the Pilo box (interaction of seeking the box containing Pilo by moving boxes)
② Situational interaction (As the tussling main characters fall backward, the door to the dream world is broken into pieces.)
③ Seeking a hidden Tommy (interaction of seeking a hidden Tommy by moving things in the room)
④ Decorating a dream tree (interaction of seeking funny things hidden in the dream tree)
⑤ Seeing the dream world (The screen can be rotated 360 degrees by touching.)
⑥ Seeking and growing a dream tree (interaction of growing a little sprout into a wonderful dream tree by touching)
⑦ Seeking and growing the dream tree (interaction of growing a little sprout into a wonderful dream tree by touching)
⑧ Climbing the dream tree (You have to climb the dream tree by riding the moving cloud.)
⑨ Rainbow slide (Eat fruits while going down the slide.)

So, as you can see there is a lot of content here, and the $2.99 price is a fair one, even if you were just getting the basic story.

Overall, this is a great kids app, that should be on your iPad or iPhone to keep the kids happy.
