Please note that Movie Browser does not provide any content to stream or download, besides the trailers found on youtube!Movie Browser image 2

Movie Browser greets you with a well-organized main page. The menu list at the top offers different options to choose from including searching movies, TV shows, actors, watchlist, etc. Look up movies and TV by popularity, new release, rating and upcoming. Similar to IMDB, you can view the synopsis, look through the cast and their credits as well. Search for a particular title, bookmark films and shows you are interested in to a watchlist, favorite those that you love and rate everything that you have seen. Everything you could want in an app called Movie Browser.

Where the app really shines is the discovery features, Find Movie and Find TV Show. Here are the tools that will answer that age-old question. Just enter a genre you are interested in, minimum rating, year of release and how you would like the results sorted. Tap Get Results and see a collection of titles for your viewing pleasure. For the most part, I found some interesting titles that I am definitely checking out. Plus, I am a self-proclaimed trailer junkie and love checking out new movie trailers to see what is coming out next. Here you can not only discover new things to watch, but view the trailers right in the app. Very nice.

There are some restrictions to Movie Browser, including a limit on favorites you can add and it does include ads that appear at the bottom and in between result screens. Nothing too discouraging though as this is a free app. If you are looking for an upgrade, you can update to Pro for only $0.99 and unlock an ad-free version with unlimited movies, TV shows and personal lists. All in all, for the money, it is definitely a steal and a useful tool for any media junkie.
