Well, it is the time of year when love is most definitely in the air, and what better way to celebrate the season than with a romantic app or two? Well, we have gathered a fine selection of the best apps and games for your iPhone and iPad that will make Siri extremely jealous of the attention you are sure to lavish on them.

So, without further ado..

Valentine Cam

There is nothing like receiving a photo from the one you love, so they say. Well, so say the developers of Valentine Cam, anyway, and when the app is this well designed, who are we to argue? The app allows you to either snap a new photo or use an existing one and add all manner of romantic effects to it. You can hold a love heart, create a photo frame and put Cupid wherever you want him in this app. The effects are really good and the app is being offered for free, with more effects available through a purchase.

Boy Loves Girl

Now this is something special, a deep adventure game with an interesting theme that is a perfect fit for Valentine’s Day. You must take on the challenge of over 50 levels across seven worlds in this fully featured game. A beautiful graphical style and affecting storyline await in this excellent game. You must perform all manner of tasks to try and win the heart of the girl of your dreams. It really is a great game, and one that will keep you interested from start to finish. Grab this game or even better, gift it to someone on Valentine’s Day; they will thank you for it.

Best Romance

Sometimes, the only thing that will get you through Valentine’s Day is a good romantic book, and that is where Best Romance comes in. The app features a big selection of romantic novels, and all of them have free preview sections. The best thing about the app though is that you get access to a massive 15 complete romantic books, completely free of charge. The store front is good looking and easy to navigate, and the reading portion itself is fairly fully featured. Overall, the app provides a lot of content for free, and a lot more if you are willing to pay. Recommended.

Valentines Day Mail Cards

This is one for the iPad and iPhone. This app allows you to send a large variety of Valentine’s Day Cards and Invitations, with an impressive set of options. You can send cards from a set amount of templates, with the ability to customise nearly every aspect of the card. The best feature is perhaps the ability to actually use the touch screen to draw your own greeting on the card- a way to truly personalise the card to your loved one.  The app is easy to use and good looking, and is a handy tool for Valentine’s Day.

Sudoku Seasons iPad

Our last app is another game, and one that has been updated to a special Valentines edition. Much like Angry Birds Seasons, this app is updated every new holiday, and the Valentine’s Day edition. The game allows you to change the usual numbers to icons, which is a nice touch, and even lets you access previous seasons’ themes. There is online play, the ability to send postcards from within the app, and thirty levels for each of the three modes. That is a lot of content for your money, so if you like Sudoku, we suggest you snap this one up.
