Pilo 2 An Interactive Children’s Story Book-3D Animation-Puzzle-Music Game
We also reviewed the first title in the Pilo series, Pilo 1, so be sure to check out that review as well. Here, the second title in the series, Pilo 2, the focus is on music. The app is still based on a storybook, but with musical based games, called ‘interactions’ here, to play instead.
The title retains the good looks and gorgeous animation of the first in the series, but the musical interactions help this to be a better, all round app, with some great entertainment for the kids to be had.
① Playing the piano (Banging on the piano keys makes a sound. What will happen to the bluebird Pipi if you bang on the key on which Pipi sits?)
② Winding up a spring (Oh, my goodness! As the bluebird Pipi got excited, the spring stopped. How can you make Pipi move?)
③ Playing the drum (Let’s practice the drum, which Pilo learned from Tommy.)
④ Music puzzle (You can put the puzzle together by moving music lying on El’s podium.)
⑤ Performing the ensemble (Let’s complete the ensemble that we have practiced. If you touch the character, it plays a sound, and the ensemble is completed.)
⑥ Characters’ finale dance (Each character dances when touched.)
The tale told this time is just as good as the first one, and again the kids will love it, and will also probably love the main character, Pilo.
Overall, there is a lot of content for your money, a decent story and some lovely animations and plenty of virtual musical instruments to learn, which will give you loads of value from this kids app.
