Fleet management apps have come a long way in helping fleet owners manage their day-to-day operations efficiently. Tailored fleet management systems such as the one developed by Eyeride Florida, collect data, organize it and then generate reports while maintaining a digital trail of all services.

Other than improving the efficiency of operations fleet management systems, they offer a host of other benefits.

  • Keep track of driver behavior which is crucial for planning driver retraining sessions.
  • Generate vehicle diagnostic reports that can be used to detect any malfunctions ahead of time.
  • The GPS tracking systems improve your fleet’s security.

Here are some excellent features of fleet management apps:

GPS Tracking

One of the standout features of fleet management systems is the use of GPS technology that is web or cloud-based, meaning the data can be accessed remotely. GPS technology can be used by fleet owners to find out the whereabouts of their vehicles at any given time. This is vital as it can be used to track down lost/stolen goods or vehicles.

Besides that, GPS systems can help drivers find the best routes, saving a few hours and gas that could have been lost on traffic.

Improves Efficiency

All in one fleet management apps are designed to simplify managerial work. These apps can be used to monitor business operations right from the booking stage at the yard to the delivery of goods right at the intended owner’s premises.

Additionally, fleet management apps reduce workload and paperwork significantly, saving time that would have been spent doing data entry. Also, they cut out instances of wrong data entry due to human error.

Fuel Efficiency and Vehicle Diagnostics

Fuel is the most significant expense when running a fleet company. Fleet management software is equipped with fuel tracking systems that monitor fuel consumption. This allows fuel readings to be recorded and transmitted right to the central office for due payment, eliminating instances where rogue drivers could siphon the fuel for personal gains. Fleet management apps also generate vehicle diagnostic reports that can warn of impending malfunction ahead of time. And the apps can be used to request emergency services in case of mechanical breakdowns.

Boosts Safety

Research has shown that drivers tend to be more careful when they are being monitored. As such, equipping your vehicles with driver and passenger cameras can help improve safety.

Besides recording driver behavior, there are telematic devices present that can allow remote control of the vehicle. Such as remote brakes in case of brake failure or if the driver gets into a tricky situation.

Report Generation and Searches

Fleet owners with a large number of cars to monitor will most certainly have a vast database. And, after years of operations, your database will most certainly grow, making manual searches and report generation challenging.

Nonetheless, with a fleet management system, you will be able to run searches no matter how huge the database gets or how quickly. Besides, the software can help fleet managers generate periodic reports with just a few clicks.

These days people are more likely to text than answer a phone call, but sometimes you just need to talk. Maybe if they knew why you were calling they would pick up the phone. Flash: Send Pics in Caller ID lets you assign a new picture as your caller ID for your caller to view each time you call. Here is some of the app’s description from the App Store:

Flash redefines phone calls by adding picture sharing to make phone calls fun and exciting. Send pictures to your friend’s phone whenever you call them and share what you’re up to in a flash!

Flash is the latest and greatest photo messaging app. Let your friends see your photos whenever you call them, edit pictures, message your friends and send secure, protected pics with ease.

Turn your pictures into a caller ID, so your friends will see what you’re up to as soon as you call. Or send “hidden Flash” pics that delete themselves, so they can remain secret.

Send great pics in a flash with every call! Download Flash now!

First Flash asks you to sign-up for an account with your phone number and create a profile with a name and other optional details like birthday and zip code. Flash will need granted access to pictures, contacts, and microphone. The app then sends a simulated call as an example of how the app works. Before you make a call, select a flash image that will show up on the screen to the person you are calling. This photo can be assigned for just one call or every call. Contacts are synced and will display any users already using Flash.

The Flash app also has a chat capability right within the app. Pictures can be shared while you talk, including in group messages. Pictures can be edited with the ability to add stickers, filters, and frames. Photos are resized and shared full screen and selfies flipped the right way. Emojis reactions and captions with “hidden capability” give it a SnapChat feel, all that’s missing is the animal filters. Flash adds some extra protection with their time-limited photos requiring password protection to open images that even supports Face ID. Choose custom deleting time limits ranging from minutes to even hours. One SnapChat feature missing though is these images can be saved to the users’ phone.

Flash: Send Pics in Caller ID is an interesting app with a concept that extends a social media messaging app to caller ID. A novel idea for sure, but it could be lonely out there to use until you get your friends out there to join. The app is available for free on the App Store and for Android on Google Play.

Play Store keeps adding new games frequently, making sure that users never run out of options. In fact, so many new games are added to the Play Store every day, that you’re sometimes not able to keep up with the new releases and miss out on some great games. But don’t worry, we’ve done the hard job of playing through the most promising titles out there to compile this list of the best Android games. Whether you have a tablet or smartphone, and whether you like to play in five-minute bursts or four-hour marathons, there’s something for you here same as Gambino casino and their free slots have for iGaming lovers. So, without wasting any more of your precious time, let’s jump right into our list of top Android games you must try in 2018.

The Room Three

The Room Three is far larger than its predecessors. Working with the same point-and-click puzzle solving template as before, The Room Three actually takes place in various different worlds and sprawling rooms. If you love the weird and mysterious, want to play an incredibly polished puzzle game, and are happy about paying for quality content, The Room Three is an absolute must have.

Fortnite

Following months of mobile exclusivity on iOS, Fortnite is now available to download on Android. If you’ve been living under a rock for the past year and are unaware of Fortnite, the concept is simple, the game includes a 100-player battle royale you drop into an island from a plane, build your armaments, find weapons, and take out the other players. Fortnite is the most popular Battle Royale game right now, and with a variety of cosmetics and the continual introduction of new game modes, it’s not hard to figure out why.

PUBG Mobile

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or popularly known as PUBG, is one of one of the most played video games on PC and Xbox and enjoys great success as a free-to-play game on android. Anyone familiar with the PUBG console or PC game will be able to jump straight in without so much as a tutorial, and many have claimed that the mobile version works better than it does on console! PUBG Mobile is without a doubt the best Battle Royale game available for Android.

Dragon Ball Legends

Dragon Ball Legends brings all the popular characters from the Dragon Ball universe to an action-packed fighting game in which you fight one-on-one against an opponent online. The game features simple controls, allowing you to unleash well-timed combos and special moves at just the touch of a finger. Bandai Namco has done a brilliant job with Dragon Ball Legends and it’s a game worth trying.

Super Mario Run

Maybe it’s not a classic in the true sense, more revamp than retro, but it sorts of fits in this category. Nintendo’s first attempt to break into the mobile game market is a strong one. Mario run along in typical side-scroller fashion, leaping and jumping, and collecting those shiny coins. It’s an endless runner so you don’t control the progression, just the jumping, which keeps things nice and simple. It’s terrific, fast-paced fun set in everyone’s favourite fantasy land.

There are plenty of reader apps in the Google Play store. Some specific to PDFs and documents, other for book reading but loyal to only certain file types or stores. It can be hard to find a great app that can really do everything you need; manage the documents but also allow you to read for pleasure. Well, look no more. FullReader – e-book reader has you covered. Here is some of the app’s description and a few of the new features that other reader apps lack:

FullReader is a multi-featured application for reading e-books, viewing PDF and DjVu files, magazines, comic strips, in addition to listening audio-books and performing basic operations with documents.

What really makes FullReader special is the Black Theme available in the newest version. The owners of devices with Super AMOLED displays will surely appreciate this feature as it is energy efficient. Enjoy reading books without thinking about your battery and the necessity to charge it.

The developers of FullReader did a great job and it is obvious that they care a lot about their app users. Therefore in FullReader 4.0.5 it is possible to customize the bottom toolbar while reading. No other reader offers such personal approach to users. So set everything up to your liking and immerse into pleasant reading.

When FullReader says it is a multi-featured application for reading e- books, that is a bit of an understatement. This app has everything, and I mean everything. For starters, the scanning feature will automatically scan your device for compatible formats to add to your library. Formats include ePub, txt, doc, docx, DjVu, and mobi, just to name a few. No need to hunt down each book and document you’d like to add that may be in different folders to assemble in the app. Once the files are found, FullReader organizes them into an easy to navigate library that can be sorted by collection, favorites, recent, authors, titles, series, or just a complete list. Easily display your library any way you want to. Manage not only book and document files but also audio such as MP3s, create personalized playlists with playback right within the app. And that is just what is stored on the device.

The app also allows for a network library where custom OPDS directories can be added manually. Then there is my personal favorite, Cloud Storage. FullReader has sign-in capability for Dropbox, OneDrive, and Google Drive via CloudRail. Sign in once for access to all three accounts in the Cloud Storage area. This is really great when you are running low on storage on your device but still want access to all your documents and e-books all in one place. Bookmarks and note-taking capability are also included with text and colorful inserts to bookmark particular pages. All notes can even be exported into an external document, which can be handy for book reports or research use. Continue reading immediately wherever you are with the FullReader widget and keep it easy on the eyes with the new dark mode theme. Every user can really make it their own with the new customization of the toolbar. It can read aloud and also has an embedded translator with 95 languages. They really have thought of everything!

FullReader – e-book reader is free to download and ad-supported, but the ads can be easily disabled in the main menu. I really enjoyed this app, it’s well designed, simple to operate and has so many uses. Kudos to the ITENSE team for this multi-functional application.

Task management can sometimes become a task itself. There are so many task managers available these days, especially for iOS, where the built-in task features of iOS are quite limited.

This may seem like a good thing, as more choice is always better.

However, when businesses have to spend valuable time training their teams how to use some of these services, the value of that task manager instantly drops. Many apps are bloated, with features hidden in menus that have multiple layers, and a complex way of sharing files and ideas.

Cirkus aims to change all that, with a streamlined interface that still has a robust set of features. The interface is genuinely easy to use, and I would think that anyone who has used iOS before, and has a basic grasp of what a task manager is, will need very little training at all, if any.

Here, straight from the developer, are the app’s best features:

TASK MANAGEMENT
• Assign a single task to multiple people using Roles
• See the status of each person contributing to a task or project
• Smart reminders keep everyone on track
• Customize views to visualize your priorities

TEAM COMMUNICATION AND COLLABORATION
• Conversations, files, and project scope all in one place
• Eliminate need for email threads and third party file storage
• Private conversations within tasks and projects keep everyone focused
• Swipe to reply to comments or force touch on notifications

ADVANCED FEATURES (for free!)
• Create task templates to save time on recurring tasks
• Automate your workflow with task triggers
• Set up permission profiles to collaborate with freelancers and temporary workers
• Organizations/teams clarify team management and workflow

COLLABORATION
• Easily invite team members to Cirkus
• Integrate freelancers into your projects with the right level of privacy
• Assign tasks and see current progress across teams and groups

There are is also a Web based version, so you can log in on a desktop PC and keep everything synced up, with a special edition designed for Mac users, and there is also an Android version coming soon.

The app is extremely well designed, with a lovely flow to the way it handles tasks, both in their creation and administration. I was particularly impressed with the way Cirkus handles file management and sharing, with files available to place in several locations for users to grab, even in team chats.

One thing I would like to see in the future is the addition of a few themes and logos to choose from, in order for companies to make the app look a little more bespoke.

Overall though, this is a superb task management app that has one of the best interfaces I have used on iOS, and comes highly recommended.

I’ll be frank: there’s a lot of stress and frustration in my life. My full-time job is stressful, my medical problems are stressful, and trying to balance those together is overwhelming. Some days, all I want to do is punch something. With Angry Baba, now I can—and I won’t even need to pay for repairs.

Angry Baba is available on both Google Play and Apple. It’s free initially, but may later give you the option of in-app purchases as you move up through the levels. The graphics are nicely designed; the scene of the game is a barbarian in the midst of volcanoes. The soundtrack is probably my favorite part of the app. The backup music is very well done and fun to listen to, even though its Oriental flavor doesn’t necessarily fit with the game. If you find the music distracting, it’s easy to turn off.

The tutorial clearly lays out how to play the game: hold your finger down as the meteor comes towards the barbarian waiting on the left side of the screen, then release just in time for him to punch it across the sky. As the meteor flies, it will hit pelicans carrying rubies in the pouches of their beaks. Quickly tap the rubies to get as many points as possible before the meteor falls. When it lands on the ground, you’ll be presented with your stats: how many meters the meteor went, your timing, and your angle. As you get better at the game and advance through the levels, you’ll be able to hit other objects rather than only meteors. And if you’re competitive, the app provides achievements, leaderboards, and challenges.

The app’s English is very poor. It’s full of typos and badly written sentences such as “Are you start the game?,” “Achieve,” and “Thank you for install.”

But if you can look past the glaring grammatical errors, Angry Baba doesn’t have many drawbacks; for the most part, it’s a fun, unique, and well-made game. Angry Baba is a fun way to spend some time relieving the stress of your everyday life.

Available on Apple and Google Play, Belong is an app that wants to partner with you and work towards #BeatingCancerTogether. Although I don’t have cancer, I do have multiple other long-term medical problems, and I’m notorious for doing a terrible job keeping track of all my medical paperwork. That’s why I was so excited about Belong’s bookkeeping capabilities.

The Belong app is free and utilizes a clean blue-and-white theme. Its main features are support groups (full of both medical professionals and fellow patients), access information on relevant clinical trials as well as a convenient way to store all of your paperwork.

Everyone knows doctors require lots of paperwork, and for patients who are in a long-term treatment program, even more documents are necessary. It can be difficult to keep up with all of these important files, so Belong lets you store them electronically from your mobile device. From the app’s homepage, simply tap “Files,” and you’ll be presented with eight sub-choices: blood tests, insurance, my uploads, other, pathologies, PET/CT/MRI, physician visits summaries, and prescriptions. You can add your own folders as well. To upload something, simply open a folder and pull the document from iCloud Drive.

With Belong, you’ll never have to worry about misplacing that prescription or forgetting to bring the result of your last MRI to the doctor’s office. Belong lets you keep all pertinent documents in your pocket. You can even share the documents directly with family or listed doctors.

There isn’t much I’d suggest to improve the app as the setup process was simple and user-friendly. I did wish there was a simpler way to streamline the information as the sheer volume of user content over professional content made the app’s usability slightly intimidating. However, I’m sure with a bit of practice you could quite quickly cut it down to only see the things that are of immediate interest to you – it will just take a bit of trial and error.

Belong recently surpassed 100,000 users, and it’s easy to see why. For a completely free app, Belong offers important services that can ease the stress of cancer patients, and it’s something I would absolutely download and use every day. Belong can be found on the App store or Google Play.

Privacy and personal data is an ongoing safety concern these days. How do you keep your data safe and out of the hands of those that should not have it? Phone and computer trade-ins are common talking points when it comes to wiping your information clean, but what about your car? Privacy4Cars helps users clean old data from their car systems before trading in or selling old cars to keep their data safe. Here is some of the app’s description from the App Store:

YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS AT RISK: Used vehicles are changing owners with prior personal data (e.g. phone logs, navigation history, cell phone address books, etc.) remaining in the vehicle’s Infotainment, Bluetooth, Navigation, or other in-vehicle technology.

WHY CAR DATA PRIVACY MATTERS: Media, regulators, advocacy groups, lawyers, and industry experts are increasingly concerned about the growing amount of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) stored in vehicles and the potential impact of electronic PII being exposed to third parties, or exploited by criminals. Leaving PII in your vehicle when you sell, trade-in, or return a rental car puts you at risk for identity theft.

Privacy4Cars has two options for account setup, register for an account with an email address or sign-in with an existing Google account. Find the manufacturer, model and year of your vehicle in the scrolling logos and name wheels. There is also the ability to search for a vehicle’s VIN or partial VIN as well. Next, find and select the sound system that is closest to the one you have. Swipe through the pictures and when the similar system is found, tap start process.

The next screen will show you a step-by-step visual instruction for what to do next to clear out data on the system and doing a master reset. After following all of the steps, all personal data from the infotainment system should now be cleared. The app will ask if the steps were successful and ask to rate the instructions and add any comments.

Privacy4Cars allows 10 info wipes total with the ability to buy more. This is at $1.99 per vehicle or in multiple packs, 5 at $8.99 up to 50 at $69.99. The app is ad supported with a small banner that runs at the bottom of the screen. It is the largest and fastest growing database of visual instructions of its kind, and I would have to believe it. I was able to browse many car makes and models with years going back as far as 2009 with many results. I found it very simple to use with the photographic depictions included making it easy enough for anyone to follow.

Privacy4Cars is a one-of-a-kind app that helps users protect their privacy everywhere they drive. The app is available in the App Store now for free.

google play badgeMoneymailme, available for Android through the Google Play store, is an interesting and unique mix of instant messaging and mobile banking. Now, that may seem like an odd coupling, but it actually makes great sense, especially as it has been implemented very well here.

The app allows you to create an account very easily, and you can top up your balance at any time. You get charged 2.5% of what you load onto your balance, but this is the only fee you ever pay, so after you have topped up, you don’t get charged at all for sending money to your friends or to charity.Moneymailme – Android Apps on Google Play

Charity and good causes are a big part of what Moneymailme is all about, and there is even a special tab dedicating to donating to the charity of your choice. It is a great way to put your cash to good use.

The app operates in the same way as many standard chat apps work, aside from the whole financial slant. You can add friends, send messages and do many things that you can do within other apps here. This part of the app works well, and although it isn’t as comprehensive as mainstream chat apps, what is here works well and is secure enough to give you peace of mind. If you really want, you can further improve security by using the app with VPN software.

You can choose to send money in three different currencies, US dollars, Euros or British pounds. This does cover large portions of people, but not everyone. Hopefully more options are on the way for different countries.

I would also like to see Paypal added to the app. Blackberry allows you to use Paypal for instant money transactions in BBM, and it works well there, so it would be a perfect fit for this app on Android.

Moneymailme is a very good app, with decent chat options supplemented by an excellent and pretty unique idea. The banking options could be a great way to easily share money with friends in real-time, and I liked the very simple fee system. The charity options are also very welcome.

Overall, if you can get some friends to also grab the app, this is a superb way of sharing small cash transactions with them.
