The Lion and the Mouse, by Kid-mind Studios, is a beautiful interactive story book that will enchant and fascinate your kids. It tells its story with some gorgeous looking animation, and fills out the experience for the youngsters with some decent mini games.

This app is only for iPad 2, and you can see why, with so much detail in the characters and backgrounds. There are some truly impressive animations in this book.

So, as you can see there is a lot to love here, and this really is worth the $2.99 price, especially if you have young children to entertain or try to get off to sleep at night.

It is easy to see this replacing real books at bed time, so for those of you with children, this is a must buy.
