The goal of Hunger Crunch is to stomp out the hunger minions with your mighty Beasty. Simply tap to jump and again to stomp. Collect candy coins and buy power ups along the way to wipe out all the evil and rack up the score. Short on candy coins? Buy more in the app to unlock power ups, boss fights and even a tournament pass.
Now normally I don’t list or highlight an app’s in-app purchases, but in this case, every purchase not only helps you beat the game, but go towards fighting the very real battle against hunger around the world. All proceeds go to Rice Bowls, a non-profit organization fighting hunger through partnerships with orphanages. The more Candy Coins you buy, the more you help a hungry child in need. What makes Hunger Crunch even better is it isn’t just a great way to raise awareness about a worldwide cause, it is actually fun to play and great to look at. The graphics are simple and adorable, with easy to learn controls and challenging levels. It isn’t easy to master on the first try which keeps you striving to do better and more eager than ever to buy coins to aid the cause.
