Apple’s Passbook has been one of the refreshing things to come to the new iOS update. Many are anxious to use it, but not many apps have seemed to be integrated for it. Ticketmaster, Target and Fandago are the most useful of those added so far. Until now.
The Starbucks app for iPhone finally got an update to integrate the new Passbook features. Now users can add their virtual Starbucks card to Passbook and use it as payment in any of its stores. It also uses the geolocation to allow users to select favorite stores and remember payment options automatically.
The update also adds iOS 6 support and includes an easier sign up process for the Starbucks’ reward program. Unfortunately it has yet to take advantage of the new iPhone 5 screen size. The update is available now in the App Store.
